Practice Short Speech
Today, we have practice some speech because this week Friday, which is 2 days after, we have a Junior School Graduation. I am feeling very weird if I think that I have graduation soon. I wrote a moment that I was most memorable and my most memorable event was a time that I get purple tie. My teacher Mrs. Archie told me that I have 2 things that I need to fix. First one was that I use too many 'things' and second one was that I need to explain what purple tie represents. I wish graduation come early and I also wish graduation come late?

Lessons to NLCS and BHA grade 3/4
Today, we had very special experience which is presenting in front of NLCS and BHA grade 3/4 students. Actually, our group didn't had a chance to present in front of BHA grade 3/4 students because they came after our lesson is done. We made 2 mistakes which is time over, not being ready with the things that we have to get ready. We didn't had much time left because we wasted some time finding the docs that we need to show. Other one was not being ready with the reflection, and the perspectives article. We just uploaded at the television screen by connecting with my mac. Next time, we are going to be ready before the presentation and not going to waste time for finding the docs.

D-1 for presenting in front of other students
Today is just one day before the actual presenting in front of other students like NLCS 6th grade, BHA(our school) 3rd, 4th grade. I am so nervous and worried because it is the first time that other people(not grade 5 and my mentor) watching the Exhibition presentation. I really really really hope to the god that our Exhibition presentation to become a successful Exhibition presentation. Hope everything goes well.

First Rehearsal
Today, we finally had first presenting rehearsal for our Exhibition. I think we had special idea by doing *jigsaw because there was non of the group who was doing jigsaw for their presentation. We definitely have somethings that we need to improve on. First, we must improve on speaking clearly and organize all the thinkings we have in our head. Also, we must make more eye contacts to the audience and being serious when I am presenting. And there were some impressing parts from other Exhibition group like some of them had a experience and that was very interactive.

Final day of Exhibition
Today was the last day of our Exhibition and tomorrow, we are having a full rehearsal. My Exhibition group was having final boost today, but we can't finish everything today. Oh no, we had a conflict!!!! So, our teacher told us that we can come to school at 7:00am to work on our Exhibition! I hope we finish everything for our art tomorrow morning.

Finish 3D Art Design
Today, I really really just focus on art whole day and I finally finished my 3D Art Design. Now, we just need to cut and paste the letters and the infos. Which means we just need to decorate. I am very proud of what I have done for the art because I did almost everything by myself. Now, I just need to finish my writing and practice music piece with my friend.

Hurry Up!
Today, we worked different things that we need to be finished until this Friday. And the thing that we was most focus about was the art and plan for the presentation. For art, I finally finished making the frame for my 3D design. I just need to connect the frame and box together. Also, for our plan for the presentation, we already choose what we want to and finished discussing about that. Now, we just need to hurry up little bit and focus on what we are doing.

Art Work
Today, our whole Exhibition was focused on our art design. Our group was also focused on our art. I am architect, so I will talk what architect did which is what I did. First, I made a box that has door with some plastics and put it inside of the white platform, but my plastic box was to weak that it doesn't stand very well. When I told that to my art teacher Mr. Hammond, he suggest me to make a wood frame to make it stable. When I started that, it was fun, but few minutes later, I felt why I started this! Actually, it was so hard, but when I am finishing one at a time and started to looks like what I planned, it felt so good! I think I liked it!

Catch up!
What do you think today's blog will be about? As you see on the title, I will talk about somethings about catching up other Exhibition groups. First, we needed to finish everything until next week Friday. Well, the thing is that we just need to discuss about plans for our Exhibition presentation, and some music description for the music piece. And other ones, we can just need to do it by ourselves like writing. Also, if I am reflecting myself, I will say that it would be better if I try my best like yesterday and the day before yesterday. Fix the mistakes
Yesterday, my blog was saying that our group is behind than every Exhibition groups and today, we got more closer with other Exhibition groups by finishing the researches. Even though, we only had 2 days to research, we try hard as possible. That make us to have a lot of details in our research, but finishing in very short time. I think right now, our group is just behind for our writing because we have take our action already and our music piece, we only need practice and writing some description. Also, for art, I have all idea simulated. I think if we try hard like what we did yesterday and today, we will catch up other group very soon.

fixing the mistakes
Today, we had a big big problem during our Exhibition. We have got that 4.3 Incident was not the genocide, so we need to do our research again! That was very terrible problem for me and my partner. We was so worried what if we fail for our Exhibition. Because we need to do our research again, we chose what genocide we are going to research and our key concepts for that genocide. We are behind everyone, so I want us to finish research quickly and be successful.

Taking action and action assembly
Today, we have big things happening. One of it is taking our action which is sharing information with grade 4s and one of it is action assembly!. For our action, as we planned, we did ice breaker game and some others. Actually, we followed everything what we have made for our action plan and just make it better every time.
For our action assembly, we have shared what we have done for our action and explanation about our topic genocide. It was very nervous, but also being a good experience. I remember the more things that I need to improve on than what I did good at.

Working on action
Today, we worked on our action that is happening tomorrow. We was getting ready for our video, description, reflection, and some quiz(kahoot). Plan for action assembly and Exhibition day
Now, the Exhibition day is getting closer and also, our action assembly is happening on next week Tuesday. Well, if we are doing presentation, we must have specific plan. Me and my partner Lahee also had some specific plan for our presentation.
Actually, we have action(taking action, not action assembly) for the presentation because, we decided to share the information we gather with grade 4 students in our school BHA!! For the schedule that morning, we decided to do some ice breaker game which is related to our topic genocide. Then, we are going to do some 'I used to think... Now I think...' After we are going to tell them some information and doing some quiz.
For our action assembly, we are going to share what we have done for action and some of the thinking changes that happened to Grade 4. I have thought that it would be entertain to make some video that we are taking action.
We need to work more an Exhibition day planning because we was so busy about the taking action and action assembly because all of those were happening in next week Tuesday and we don't have a lot of plan for the Exhibition day. I am thinking that if we made about 10~13 different *aurasma, that would be interactive for the audience.

Plans for presentation
All of the Exhibition groups are busy preparing the presentation like our action assembly, presenting the whole Exhibition day. We try to make it interactive to let audience is included on our presentation. Not sitting their and we are the only one who is talking. Also, we thought what are the ways to make our presentation entertaining and fun. We thought that if we do some game that audience can be included, it will be entertaining. For me, I like our action plan because that is way of presenting for our group. Also, in our action plan, I like the part when we are playing ice-breaker game, and ka-hoot quiz.

To Do Thing During Exhibition
We have 10 more things to complete before we start our essay writing. In 'To Do List,' we have, Blogs everyday, Action assembly items, Music/Dance/Drama items, Research and note taking, Field trips, action planning, taking action, 2D,3D art design, Presenting the Exhibition action, mentor meeting and communication, and presenting the Exhibition.
I think we need to know more about presenting the Exhibition lesson because we have informations, but not much as other things like action that we are going to take. Also, I am excited about presenting the Exhibition too because that day, we are ending the Exhibition! I think for our group, we don't have much information as we thought that we will have right now, so I think from now, we really need to use our home time and concentrate well. What I am most worrying is researching because we need to finish our research until this week Friday, but we don't get enough research.

Ways to present our Exhibition
Today, Mr.Cavanagh have told us to think how you are going to have your presentation for the Exhibition. Before he told us, he made a little Presentation pretend that he have researched about deforestation and doing Exhibition. First, he did kahoot quiz to make us think and make us to get interests. Then, he gave us the paper that is written as different perspective of different people about deforestation. After that, we discuss and had a conversation as a small group and discuss why does our character agree or disagree with deforestation. After that we need to reflect how much we learn. I think we must consider how we can make audience think, make, and reflect because if we don't, it will be just a presentation that was not memorable and useless.

Preparing the interview
Today, my blog is just normal daily blog. Today, we did some math test about fraction, decimal, and percentages. I was pretty confidence with those topic because I practice them a lot and I know how to calculate those math problems. Actually, we don't really had time to do Exhibition, but I finish my math task pretty early, so I had 40minutes to work on my Exhibition.
By using that time, I call Jeju 4.3 Incident peace park and the Information desk recommend me one person that me and my group can interview. I call that person and that person said that he can be participate in our interview. I have very high expectation for the interview because our group thought that interviewing people is great way to get infos about 4.3 Incident.

Blob Tree for Exhibition

We thought of how much we have done for the Exhibition and compare to blob tree. For you guys who wonder what is 'blob tree,' I will explain. Blob tree is what this picture is called and this picture is very useful when you want to think of the position you are at right now. We are also doing blob tree to think of the position we are at right now for the Exhibition.
I think our group is a person who is standing almost at middle, but little higher that middle. Just
like the position of this person, we are almost at middle of the process, but a little higher I think
because we almost finish the action plan, field trip and we have done half of the research that will
need during Exhibition. For action plan, we just have to think of the date, which grade, and time.
Also, for field trip, we finished making first draft for our field trip plan and we just have to add some
detail. We almost finished searching about 4.3 Incident and we just add some details, but we don't
have much information about holocaust, so we must focus to research about holocaust.

Exhibition D-Day is Coming!

Today, I found the reality of the time we have from now and until end, and the works we have to get done by. We have so many works to get done, but I don't think we have a lot of time, so we really need to stay on task if we don't want to be stressful with the Exhibition at last.
We must finish our action plan until this Friday. You guys can think that is enough time to finish and I thought that way at first, but not now. Actually, we only have 2 days because of the schedules we have during the school time, but I think for our group action plan is not the problem because we almost finish our action plan.
Next problem is to finish our research until the Friday for next week. Same thing, we are not doing Exhibition on Friday and we have full school schedules on Monday, and Tuesday. Actually, the hardest problem is researching because we need to be experts on the issue that we have chose. For us, genocide is too wide topic, so we are going to divide into each issue that happened like Holocaust. Well, the problem is not the holocaust because I can ask my history teacher about the topic, but for other, it is local issue and those are not popular issues.
For our group, I think we must spend all of our Exhibition time researching and making action plan because we have writing and presentation left. Writing will start on week after next week I think. We need to try hard to get our Exhibition done.

Goal for Exhibition
I have a lot of goal that I want to achieve during Exhibition. For our field trips, I hope that me and Lahee learn more about genocide in different ways. For example, cause and effect for the genocide, different perspectives in genocide. I also have goal for my researching. For my primary source, I'll like to interview people to get the information and for my secondary source, I'll like to read book or search in internet because those two would have a lot of information. I will like to complete my research by next Thursday because we must spend time on other things, but researching is one of most important thing. Also, for my action, I will like to take some direct action because if me and Lahee had chance to speak in front of other people about resolution for genocide, it would be very memorable thing for us.

Video about Taking Notes
When I just saw this video's tittle and picture, I notice that this video will be the video that is related to the importance of note taking. Well, what I have thought was similar. I agree with the main idea that this video try to tell us was that if we take a note detailed and carefully, it helps us in different ways. For example, you have to share the information in front of your class, but if you don't take note and you forgot every details, you will be in a bad situation. Reason for me to agree in this statement is that I also think that taking note is very important because if we take note, we don't have to worry about forget all the things before we share and if we write it down with our hands and take note, it will stay on our brain long time. I think taking note is very important and this video give us the great theme.

My Attitudes during Today Exhibition Time
Did you guys know what is IB learner profile and attitudes are? If you guys don't know, I will explain it to you guys. Attitudes are the ways that we can behave properly and be the good learner during class time. IB learner profiles are similar, but they are telling the exact person who does that. For example, there are thinker, inquirer, etc.Today, I was using IB learner profile 'communicator' and 'cooperation' because I tried to communicate well with my group Lahee, so I try to think about the greatest way to share my idea and I tried to listen to her not hearing. She also tried to communicate well with me and I tried to communicate well with her. I think our group communicate well today. By communicating well, we had a good cooperation and that helps us to solve problems easily.
Of course I have IB learner profile and attitude that I want to use in this week. I would like to use 'inquirer', and 'curiosity' because this week we would be researching about our topic and many questions we have, many things we can find more about our topic. By using these skills, it would be helping us researching more about our topic because everything start from the questions.

Reflecting myself during Exhibition using photo
Who is boring or want to listen to other's story about Exhibition? If you want to know about other people's story, you can listen to what I am telling you guys. For you guys and me(because this is my homework^^) I will tell you guys my story. Let me start!To reflect our group, I think we are doing pretty good job because we are not behind the schedule, or other group. Actually, we are the not the group that is doing fastest in our class group, but we are not a lot, but pretty close to that groups.
If someone told me to use this picture and think about which people represent us, I will say that my group is a people who are trying to go up and reason why I choose quite a bit bottom even though I said that we are having a good teamwork is that we just finished our key concepts, lines of inquiry, and central idea. We are just starting to research and there are a lot of steps have been left to finish the Exhibition. Me and my partner Lahee is trying to work hard to get through the more step and to make good quality of this Exhibition. I think if we try hard, we can be the person who is standing at the top of the tree and smiling, not a person who is sitting at top looks angry and feel bad.

Lines of Inquiry and First Mentor Meeting for Exhibition
Everyone, stop what you are doing and please watch what I am writing! You guys will all be surprised after you guys watch what I want to write. If you guys want to know about my story you guys must focus to what I am just writing.
No more blah, blah, blahs and I am really going to start! I was so worried about me and my partner because we both have similar personality. Well, you guys can think it's a good thing, but actually, IT'S NOT FOR ME! She and I had personality that likes to consider the idea that we make for selves. We like to be the role of leader, not a people who just follow and do what the other told to do, but today, reversal thing was happen to us! HOORAY!!!!!!!! I can't even thought that we will finishes early that other groups and have similar idea almost every time and we doesn't fight once and even more weird, no crashes. After we finish our key concepts in a correct way, we chose our 3 lines of inquiry just in 10 minutes, but nothing was wrong. I was so glad and I felt my worries are going away from me!
For our first mentor meeting, I was 50% nervous and 50% exciting. Our mentor gave us some advice to research the topic we chose because for me, I had no idea how to research.(maybe my partner does, but I am not sure...) When she looked at our lines of inquiry, she says that she thought that causation and reflection is repeating. After that, I was kind of afraid that what if it gets wrong? After our mentor meeting, we had time to do math, but my lead teacher Mrs. Archie called me and my partner saying that our lines of inquiries are repeating.(just causation and reflection) Me and my partner decided just to change our key concepts and every thing goes fine.
Our team had an reversal thing in good way, but what about you guys? I am really curious that you guys had an reversal thing like our group or had an the thing that you guys have thought? Tell me you guy's story in comments.^!^

When she looked at our lines of inquiry, she says that she thought that causation and reflection is repeating. After that, I was kind of afraid that what if it gets wrong? After our mentor meeting, we had time to do math, but my lead teacher Mrs. Archie called me and my partner saying that our lines of inquiries are repeating.(just causation and reflection) Me and my partner decided just to change our key concepts and every thing goes fine.
Our team had an reversal thing in good way, but what about you guys? I am really curious that you guys had an reversal thing like our group or had an the thing that you guys have thought? Tell me you guy's story in comments.^!^

Main Idea, Key Concepts for our Exhibition
Today, we have chosen our main idea between me and my partner. We was worried to chose our main idea because me and my partner wanted an opposite thing for our Exhibition main idea, but finally we found a connection between our ideas and we chosen our main idea which is genocide. My partner wanted to include some part of the government to the main idea genocide and I wanted to include causation, negative impacts, what they use etc. For us, finding main idea was the most challenging thing during our Exhibition time. After we solve the challenging part for us, everything goes well and we doesn't had more problems between today's work. After we chosen our main idea, we started to write down the questions that are matching to the key concepts and we have to chose. We almost finished to write down our questions and we just need to write down our main idea! I think we will have a lot of the challenging thing, but also an exciting thing during our Exhibition. I think the most important thing is that we must find out the definition of our challenges every time.

Third week of our Exhibition
Today was the starting week of our third week of Exhibition and today, teachers told us our homeroom teacher which means lead teacher, our group members, and our Exhibition mentor. It was very exciting and nervous when our teacher was just tried to told us the members and the mentor because I am going to work with them and get some advices from the mentors during whole Exhibition. I AM WORKING WITH THEM FOR 5 MORE WEEKS TO GET FINISHED WITH MY EXHIBITION PARTNER!!!!!! For me, I have a partner instead of members which mean our group is only 2 people. Some of groups does, but some of groups aren't. We started by making our team essential agreements that we have to keep during the Exhibition. After we finishes writing our essential agreements, we made our team shield. In that team shield, we wrote down our name, our lead teacher and the mentor. Also, we add some of the essential agreements that we wrote down. It was very nervous and exciting to start our Exhibition.

What will discussion sound like in Grade 5?
- We will use English in our groups UNLESS we need to translate the meaning of a word or phrase that needs clarification or elaboration.
- Then we will remember to switch back to English once we have clarified or elaborated our ideas.
- In partners, we will use English.
- When we are thinking solo we can use either English or Korean/Chinese.
- In teams, we will use English for all conversation unless we are clarifying the meaning of something.
